The Western Den was born from a love for rodeo, rustic charm, creative living, and regional lifestyle. Inspired by the Founder and her love for leather, homewares, western and boho, The Western Den was created. Proudly run and owned by a local family who give back to the community of Rylstone and the surrounding suburbs, we aim to create a space for our local families,  farmers & visitors to reflect both heritage and heart. 

What started our journey traveling the rodeo circuit selling branded merchandise, western boho fashion and hand crafted leather goods and as we settled down in the region and an expanding family we felt that it was time to set down roots to a store and travel a little less on the road. We’ve expanded our lines we carry and are listening to the wants and needs and plan to continue to expand and surprise.

From handpicked goods and artisan products to seasonal eats, gifts, and cozy corners to sit back and soak it all in – The Western Den is more than a store for rodeo folk it’s a store for the whole family to explore and no doubt you’ll find a gift for that hard to buy for person.

You’ll find it affordable, durable and practical. It’s a little slice of country life, thoughtfully curated and full of deeply personal connections.

With its sandstone buildings, artistic spirit, and welcoming locals, Rylstone is the perfect place for The Western Den to call home.

We’re proud to contribute to the town’s creative energy and showcase the best of what our region has to offer. We are big supporters of local events and the location is central to the Hunter Valley, Central West and Sydney regions.
